Sometimes, when a dog, or cat or other animal appears on a television programme or in a commercial, Woody gets very excited - that's "excited" as in cross! He'll growl and bark as if to say, "What are you doing looking through the magic window into my house?"
So you can imagine the scene when Crufts (the dog show) came on with hundreds upon hundreds of dogs! Woody was so indignant that he ran across the room, hurled himself at the Tv...and switched it off!
The solution was simple - Woody was put on a lead, and Ian held onto the other end as they, and Julie and I, watched the programme together. Next day, Ian put Woody on a lead to watch another show from Crufts, but this time did not hold the other end. Woody was completely calm about all those dogs in our house!
So I guess that's what a dog lead is really for - to take away the power to bark, run, hurl and switch off electrical appliances!
Love and Tailwags, and don't tell Woody I've been on his computer!
