This year, our Dog School did not throw a doggy party - instead, on 4 December, they organised a meal out for all our pets. Gemma and I invited our dog chums around to our place while Ian and Julie were out (you won't tell them will you?!).
On Christmas Day, we got a new dog bed, which is very cozy. Ian says it's like a bean bag without any beans in it. Well in my language, that would make it a bag, which it isn't otherwise it would be called a dog bag rather than a dog bed.
Then Ian and Julie went out for another meal - humans always seem to be hungry!
When they got home, the present opening began, and Yours Truly straightaway worked out which coloured paper belonged to Gemma and me. We helped each other open our presents, then we leant our expertise to Ian and Julie, helping them to open theirs. When we'd finished, we each tucked in to a raw hide chew - well, Gemma and I did, but I don't think Ian and Julie like them (either that or they'd had too much Christmas pudding!).
All in all, a great day was had by everyone - thank goodness the recent snow and ice didn't stop Santa Paws taking off in his sleigh from Yapland!
